Celebrity Train Layouts – Frank Sinatra Part 1 In 1995, Frank Sinatra sold his Rancho Mirage, California compound to Canadian businessman, Jim Pattison. Mr. Pattison kept with Sinatra estate just as Mr. “S” left it, including the train cottage. TM was granted exclusive rights to film the layout in July, 2002. Richard Kughn s Train Layouts & Collections Dick Kughn, former owner of Lionel Trains Inc., assembled one of America s finest collections of toy trains, antique cars, pedal cars, tin toys, and automotive art. Dick housed his collections at Carail, a 45,000 square-foot building located on the Northwest side of Detroit. Dick turned 73 in 2003. Time to downsize. Lionel was first to go, then Carail.
